Owner Catherine Steeves had been a Bookkeeper for over two decades before opening her own business in the Maritimes in 2016. McFinn Bookkeeping Solutions Inc. moved west in 2022, at which time Erin came on board and created systems for the business to operate 100% digitally so we can service clients from all over Canada. We are a mother daughter powerhouse duo. Our name came from combining Catherine’s maiden name “McIntyre” and Erin’s married name “Finn”.

Catherine Steeves, CPB
Catherine has always been passionate about organization. From her early career as Office Manager for a not-for-profit, to running her own business, she thrives on helping people succeed.
Founder and Owner of McFinn Bookkeeping Solutions Inc. since 2016, Catherine is exceptionally organized and extremely skilled in financial reporting. Her superior attention to detail and effective time management will ensure your company reaches its full potential. Her background as an office manager gives her an edge as an administration specialist including when it comes to organizing invoice and payment transactions. While you’re growing your business on the front lines, Catherine will be stacking the foundation of your business through records maintenance, CRA audit preparation and reporting, billing and collecting, account reconciliations, payroll, administration assistance and more.

You know that feeling you get when something just clicks. Erin loves that feeling. She always loves sharing that feeling. Erin has always thrived at business organization. She has over 10 years experience in administration, which gives her an edge in understanding bookkeeping from your perspective. She has always had an intuition for computer software and flexing that nerd muscle. Erin is excited to share her knowledge to help you understand your way around your bookkeeping software, so that we can work together as a great team.
Erin’s became an Owner of McFinn Bookkeeping Solutions Inc. in 2023. She helps ensure efficiency and client satisfaction thorough communication, bookkeeping and client training.
